WELCOME TO ST MICHAEL’S!
A message from the Priest-in-charge, Rev John A. Castle Priest-in-charge, Rev John A. Castle

I'm very pleased to welcome you to our website, and hope you'll get a feel for our church and find the information you are looking for.

St Michael’s is the Church of England parish church for most of the town of Sandhurst. (The area north of Yorktown Road and east of Rackstraw Road is the Parish of St George in Owlsmoor.)  We have a beautiful church building, which is known by many who have attended weddings, christenings or other special occasions here, or who have relatives buried in the churchyard.

But St Michael’s is not a building - it is a community of people who worship God together, and who want to know God better and serve him better in our daily lives – at home, at work and in the community.  We believe that the message of Jesus Christ is as relevant to the people of Sandhurst today as it ever was. So our services and the other activities we run are designed to appeal to a broad range of people, from children to those in their later years.

We are all on a journey of discovery, and we invite you to join with us. As you do so, whether at Sunday worship or in a smaller group, we hope you'll discover more of God, make new friends and be enabled to find the role God has for you in his work of healing a broken and needy world.

If you need any further information, please contact our Parish Office, who should be able to give you an answer or put you in touch with one of the clergy or another relevant person.

We currently have vacancies for Creche Helpers and Notice Board Coordinator. To indicate your interest in any of these positions, please contact the Parish Office during open hours. Alternatively ask a Church Warden or the Verger.
